19-year-old Ezekiel "Easy" Rawlings agrees to drive his friend Raymond "Mouse" Alexander from Houston, Texas to Pariah, Texas to retrieve money from Mouse's stepfather, Daddy Reese. The volatile Mouse plans to use the money to marry EttaMae - but the whole plan is more complicated than it seems.
